Castle Christian is a church that
provides its members with meaningful fellowship, Bible
instruction, and worship experiences. But it is much more than
than. Castle Christian is a group of Christians who are
committed to serving, to doing ministry, and to caring for the
forgotten people of the world.
In Georgetown, Texas, we have
thousands of seniors. While many of these seniors
continue to live vibrant independent lives, there are many who
have been forced to seek the care of nursing homes. Too
often when a senior moves into a nursing facility, they
experience a feeling of abandonment, isolation, and
helplessness. Family members occassionally visit,
but to the senior it seems far too infrequently. Many of
these seniors have been faithful in church all of their lives,
but now find themselves with few opportunities for spiritual,
emotional, and social supports. Understanding this great
need. Georgetown Christian is committed to providing meaningful
worship services, personal visitation, and caring support for
these often forgotten seniors.
